Antulio Tamayo - CEO

Antulio Tamayo started with equa™ having had a personal interest in the brand concept and investment.  He also had a passion for driving international sales and wanted to insure equa™ would be found around the world.  During the last 20 years, he has continously been involved in the formation, launching and development of business ventures.

At the age of 21, he formed his first company concentrating on the import and distribution of the EMSA brand, the largest European houseware and household products company as well as the professional line of cutlery, Wustholf (est. in 1784).  This business still exists today.

In the early 90's he introduced Sunbeam Oster Health Care Products to the largest chains of Department and Specialty stores in Mexico.  Other business ventures include his own line of picture frams and gift lines, establishing and building the import into Mexico of the Selfix, Inc. (Homz) products (a Chicago based company), real estate, event promotions, and beverage distribution.

In 2004, he opened and operated the first Segafredo Zanetti Espreso Coffee shop in Mexico City.

Antulio earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana and specialized in Marketing.  He has been involved in international operations his entire career.  He is multi-lingual including Spanish, English, Portuguese, and Italian.
Debbie Wildrick, SVP Sales & Marketing
Debbie Wildrick – SVP Sales & Marketing

Debbie Wildrick has over 25 years in the consumer packaged goods industry.  Most recently, Wildrick led the sales initiatives at The FRS Company as General Manager – Retail.  She was responsible for all sales to retail outlets in North America distribution, national accounts, and nutritional sales.
 
Wildrick spent several years at 7-Eleven, Inc. with her last position being Senior Director – Vault and Proprietary Beverages. She was responsible for $3.3 Billion or 40% of all merchandise sales for over 5500 stores in the U.S. market.

Wildrick’s packaged goods experience includes several years at Tropicana North America, Ne-Mo’s Bakery, Inc., the New Era Beverage Company, and Brown, Moore & Flint.  She has led regional efforts managing brokers, sales teams, and distributors in a variety of roles.

She earned a Bachelors of Science – Marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas. Debbie is involved with many activities, and has served as Education Chair, Network of Executive Women, and a graduate of the Cornell Food Executive Program.

Julian C. Perez-Duarte V – Project Manager / Brazil

Julian Perez-Duarte has over 40 years in plant design, construction, installation and start-up mainly related to the plastics and resins industries.  He has had extensive experience in management posts for sales and production, developments on new products and technologies. 

 

Highlights of his experience include Operations Manager for PYN S.A. de C.V. (manufacturers of calendered and extruded films and sheets).  General Manager of Mexiplast (Custom Injection Molding).   Group Manager for seven converting plants for the Vitro Group / Plastics Division where they produced bottles by blow molding, caps and lids by injection.   Reengineering and training of personnel for the modernization of production capabilities at LAPLEX S.A., for polyestirene extruded sheet.   Machinery negotiation, mold design, and acquisitions on projects for INNOPACK GROUP (PET containers business).  Project leader for the design, plant layout, equipment, building construction and installation for a new plant for safety caps by Guala Closures de Mexico.  Technical Manager for products and equipment on bottles and capts with Owens Illinois Latinoamerica.

 
Julian earned his Chemical Engineering Degree from UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico).  He is also a Business Management graduate of the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Direccion de Empresas (Harvard Business School).

Rodrigo Oliva – Technical Counselor-Sourcing Manager / Brazil

Rodrigo Oliva has extensive experience in the design and construction of more than 10 PET container manufacturing facilities.  Recently, he has focused on helping companies with engineering services, including the design and construction of manufacturing facilities and production lines for plastic parts and PET recycling.

He has worked in manufacturing with companies such as Grupo Zapata as their Project Manager and General Manager of their manufacturing facility, IBM Mexico as Project Coordinator and Engineering Manager with assignments in Mexico, Canada, and the U.S., and Ford Motor Company, Mexico as Projects Coordinator responsible for the engineering coordination in the launch of new products.

He served as President of APREPET, Civil Society supporting PET Manufacturing and Recycling from 2001-2006.

Rodrigo earned his Electro Mechanical Engineering Degree from UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico).  He also received his Technical Training Certificate, AOTS (Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship) from the Automobile Engineering Training at Nissan Motor Co., in Tokyo, Japan.
